Steven M. Buckman, an AV Preeminent rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, is a principal with the law firm of BuckmanLegal PLLC and is the president of Palisades Title Company in Washington, DC. Mr. Buckman concentrates his practice on title, business and real estate related issues. He frequently serves as an expert witness in related matters. He is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and the State of New York, as well as the federal courts of the District of Columbia and Maryland. Mr. Buckman received his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Maryland. He is a licensed title agent in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. While attending college in London, England he served as an intern in the House of Commons for Sir Patrick Duffy, MP. After graduating from college, Mr. Buckman served as a legislative assistant to Congressman Tim Hall (D-Illinois) and, while in law school, he was in intern-clerk for the late Rita Davidson, Judge of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. He holds membership status in the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors. He is a former president of the District of Columbia Land Title Association in which he served as a Board Member for more than 15 years; he is the former President of the Maryland Land Title Association where he has served as a Board Member for the past 9 years. He has conducted numerous seminars for the real estate and title industry in Washington, DC, and Maryland through the District of Columbia and Maryland Land Title Associations, the District of Columbia Bar, the National Business Institute, Lorman and Half-Moon Seminars. He is a co-author of Mastering Real Estate Titles and Title Insurance in Washington, DC, and Washington, DC, Real Estate Title Law: Problems and Solution. In March of 2012, Mr. Buckman was appointed by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to serve on its Small Business Review Panel which reviewed the CFPB’s formal rulemaking proposal to combine mortgage disclosures under the Truth in Lending Act and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act.

Jason Guetzkow serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Palisades Title Company and supervises the post-closing and title policy fulfillment department of Palisades Title Company. He studied media issues at the University of California at Berkeley, earning an A.B. in 1994. The New York University School of Law awarded a J.D. to him in 1997. While at NYU, he served as an editor of The Review of Law and Social Change. At Palisades Title Company, he focuses on the implications that finance, zoning, foreclosure, condominium regime, and lease issues can have on both residential and commercial title.

Antarriey Norman, a paralegal for Palisades Title Company, brings more than ten years of experience in title processing and customer relations with her. Ms. Norman is extremely knowledgeable in the field of title law and real estate settlements, all of which are enhanced by her professionalism and enthusiasm. Throughout her tenure at Palisades Title Company, Antarriey has provided notable contributions that speak of her determination to provide excellence in everything she does. Antarriey is an alumna of the University of Maryland University College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Law and Public Policy. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Management with a specialization in Acquisition and Supply Chain Management at UMUC. Antarriey has additionally obtained her Paralegal Certification in Real Estate, Litigation, and Legal Writing from Howard University School of Law.
